Strauss company established its logistic center in Shoham.

The center occupies an area of 55,000 square meters.

The logistic center includes refrigerated storage rooms and many systems that consume a significant amount of energy. For this purpose, Ardan Projects Company (1985) Ltd. built the plant’s primary energy center, with a total output of 9MW.

The works included erecting and operating an advanced primary energy center, which combines high voltage connection (9MW 22KV) from the Electricity Company, 4,000 ampere low voltage boards that meet Israeli Standard 1419 for manufacturing of low voltage distribution boards and are connected with a 4000A busbar array.

The project also included setting up a double floating floor under the entire plant, in an area spanning about 250 square meters, to accomodate the infrastructure and the cables feeding the electricity.
